Comparatia regulata a adverbelor in engleza

Comparativul de superioritate a adverbelor in engleza  se formeaza cu ajutorul:

-sufixului -er in cazul adverbelor monosilabice (si a adverbului early):

fast->faster (repede-> mai repede)

early->earlier (devreme->mai devreme)

- se adauga more in cazul in cazul adverbelor bi- si plurisilabice:

carefully->more carefully (cu atentie->cu mai mare atentie)

Comparativul de egalitate a advervelor in engleza se formeaza cu ajutorul lui as…as:

He decorated the house as beautifully as his sister (El a decorat casa la fel de frumos ca si sora lui).

Comparativul de inferioritate a advervelor in engleza se formeaza cu ajutorul lui not so/as…as sau less…than:

This horse doesn’t run as fast as the other (Calul acesta nu alearga la fel de repede ca celalalt).

He drives less carefully than she (El nu conduce la fel de atent ca si ea).

Gradul superlativ a advervelor in engleza

-Superlativul absolut a advervelor in engleza se formeaza cu ajutorul unor adverbe ca very (foarte), quite destul de), most (cel mai).  Acestea  preced adverbul respectiv  :

She plays the piano very beautifully.

She plays the piano quite beautifully.

She plays the piano most beautifully.

-Superlativul relativ de superioritate a advervelor in engleza este exprimat prin:

- (the) (adverb)+ est pentru adverbele monosilabice si a adverbului early:

That horse runs (the) fastest (of  all) – Calul acela alearga cel mai repede (dintre toti).

- (the) most+adverb in cazul adverbelor bi- si plurisilabice :

She dressed (the) most beautifully (of all) – Ea s-a imbracat cel mai frumos (dintre toti).

-Superlativul relativ de inferioritate a advervelor in engleza este exprimat prin : (the) least+adverb:

He talks English (the) least fluently (of all) – El vorbeste engleza cel mai putin fluent (dintre toti).
